Resolution.

Life can be stressful. Sometimes you just need to take a break. Even if it's just to stop running around the house for five minutes, sit down in the silence and watch the plant grow. With the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season I have used the excuse "there isn't time" on numerous occasions when I've wanted to do something for myself. With the new year quickly approaching, I've decided there isn't a more perfect time to set goals for myself.
Normally I'm terrible at New Year resolutions, but I'm going to make this years a little different. A little more realistic and a lot more simple than the resolutions I have set previous years.
Of course, I want to make an extra effort to eat clean, go to the gym, and save money. These resolutions some how carry over each year. In addition to the traditional resolutions I am going to make a better effort to keep a journal. Not just any kind of journal. I would like to keep a strictly positive journal. I have always wanted something to leave behind, something that tells my story. I've attempted journal before, but the journal always gets ruined with my negative thoughts and experiences. This is definitely not what I want to leave behind.
I would also like to spend more time crafting, drawing, and scrap booking. Creating has always brought me much joy. It feels so amazing to find my creative side, and take a load off to do something I truly love. It relaxes me an make me a much more pleasant person to be around.
Finally, I vow to do more random acts of kindness throughout the year. Making people feel special and cared for makes me feel incredibly amazing. Whether it is a simple smile, holding a door, buying a stranger coffee in the morning, or helping a friend with a favor. These things take little to no effort and make everyone feel amazing!

Can't have a post with out pictures!!
