Love at home

What a fun day Valentines Day was this year. Zacary and I have a relationship that doesn't require a dozen roses, candle lit dinner, and expensive gifts. Although {obviously} everyone enjoys these extravagant things every once in a while, it's just not us. Instead, we celebrated the day of love being our complete selfs. We {simply} enjoyed the company of each other in our own quiet home. There was just a bit more sentimentality and passion in the air than our ordinary day.
Zac had to spend more than half the day at work, so I wanted to make sure he felt extra special when he got home. I spent the day cutting heart shapes out of craft paper and writing romantic puns on each one. I placed them around the house in their designated spot. {Idea inspired by my two friends Allison and Alisen} My favorite heart was placed on the toilet; "UR-IN" all my thoughts. Hearts were everywhere!
I also hung balloons over our bed from the ceiling, and placed candy in a heart shape on the blankets. Together we cooked dinner {which included pink cinnamon roles for dessert} and had a couple celebratory drinks. Zacary gave me the gift of vision, and my glasses conveniently arrived the day they were supposed to!
The day was simple, quiet, romantic, and wonderful! I love our unique relationship that does not require over the top gifts and dates. Together we are home bodies, and together we wouldn't have it any other way!

Drayze and I took cute pictures of him in his Valentine shirt.
She said yes {of course} so it only seemed right to take her a rose.
Impossible to get him to hold still for pictures anymore!
