We started 2013 fresh as Mr. and Mrs. Diamond.
We welcomed 3 new nephews.
Kallen Michael Keith
Bentlee Wayne Telford
Myles Jiggs Boyd
Spent 10 wonderful days in Montana hanging out with the cutest little munchkins.
{This is the only picture I have :( }
While Zacary's sister, Jana, was pregnant with Myles she had to spend the majority of her pregnancy in the hospital making sure the little guy didn't come too early. We were fortunate enough to help her out with the kids for those 10 days.
While in Montana we played bingo at the Casino. On our way back to the house after Bingo, I noticed my wedding ring had somehow slipped off my finger. I was incredibly upset. We went back to the Casino hoping someone had turned it in. Of course they had not. Luckily, the next day I received a call saying they had found my ring!! It was a miracle!
Zacary and I also got some intense food poisoning while in Montana, but that's another story for another day.
I spent 50% of the year pregnant.
Even though I won't deny {for one minute} pregnancy is quite missurable, it is beautiful. It is so incredible to watch your belly grow knowing you are creating a little life. It is even more amazing feeling that life move inside of you. What a awesome {exhausting} experience!
Can you believe that tiny cacon is now a handsome little baby boy? Mind blowing.
Along with pregnancy came the amazing baby shower my mom threw for Baby Drayze and me.
Obviously, coming in first place for the year was the birth of our son. Nothing will ever top that moment!
The best thing I have done with my life is make the love of my life a daddy, and becoming a mommy to the most amazing baby boy a mom could ask for.
The Ute Stampede is a small town tradition we have been a part of our entire life. Whether we attend the traditional events or not, it is always a fun weekend to get together with friends.
Our family trip to the cabin was definitely another highlight of the year. It was Drayze's first trip, and our first getaway as a family.
We enjoyed very much watching my little {big} brother, Dedric, play football. I have never seen so much passion in a person pay off. He is definitely a stud on the field. Of the 24 men on the field, his hard work and dedication stands out most.
We have greatly enjoyed watching my little sister, Deveny, grow into a beautiful young lady as well. She has really blossomed over the past year, and I couldn't be happier to say we have grown a friendship in addition to sisterhood. "As long as you have a sister, you have a best friend."
Above all else, I have enjoyed, more than anything else, watching the people in my life whom I love form an incredible bonds with my son.
There isn't any sequence of words I can put together to describe the joy and happiness the love between my boys, the two people who are my entire world, brings me.
There truly is nothing better.
I'm quite sad to see such a fantastic year come to an end. It is exciting to start a fresh new year. So much possibility lay ahead. Welcome 2014!
